ADVANCES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF PALM OIL FARMING USING HOMA TECHNOLOGY.
DATE: Pucallpa, March 20/2002
Please receive our greetings and the TECHNICAL REPORT about the "PRODUCTION
OF OIL PALM APPLYING HOMA TECHNOLOGY", project, after visiting the
corresponding camps, which are under your supervision. There was an
accelerated rejuvenation of oil palm plantation observed in the productive
areas of the S.A.I.S. PAMPA COMPANY through the effect of HOMA THERAPY.
From the phytopathology point of view, we noticed significant changes in
relation to the presence of pollinating agents, formation of crowns,
shortening of the productive cycle, increase of production (double the
production in just two months of applying HOMA technology treatment) and
improvement of the quality.
Sincerely,

I. - INITIAL DIAGNOSE:
The COMPANY S.A.I.S. PAMPAS CORP has an area of 330 hectares of
oil palms. It is located on Km. 50 of the Highway Federico Basarde. It shows a
great quantity of masculine flowers and a lack of feminine ones.
The palms show leaves with little vitality, they dry up easily, beginning to
dry from the tips, many have symptoms of clorosis.
We can see few functional leaves on each tree and it is frequently necessary
to remove the leaves.
There is an about 80% leave damage by the larvae of the butterfly called "
Ahuihua " (Brassollis Sp.).
There is also little crown production, extending the time of harvest to once
a month. Some areas have no commercial bunches and many have no harvest at
all.
Little presence of pollinating agents.
CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CHOSEN PALMS OIL AREA, WHERE HOMA THERAPY IS
APPLIED
The 330 hectares of palm oil plantation are divided in two sectors:
- Sector TUNUYA:
247 hectares, initiated in the years 1990 and 1991(age 10 and 11 years).
In this area are no weeds, the " Kudzu " plant grows as a covering. It shows
good management. It was chemically fertilized (NPK).
- Sector SANTA ROSA:
81.5 hectares of palm oil plantation, initiated in the year 1988 (13 years
old).
This plantation was untended, is overgrown with weeds like Torourco,
Shapumba, Brachiaria decumbens, among others. The plantation has parasitic
plants of the Epifitas type.
In this plantation sheep were raised, which accelerated the spreading and
the growth of weeds. These unfavorable conditions diminished the quantity of
the harvest subsequently.
Although the TUNUYA sector has better management and younger trees the
production is low and the harvests decrease continually.
For the treatment with Homa Therapy Techniques the palm tree plantation of
SANTA ROSA was chosen.
II. - ADVANCES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE PALM OIL
CULTIVATION WITH HOMA TECHNOLOGY
After 2 months of HOMA Therapy application the quantity of feminine flowers
outnumbers the masculine.

Chart No. 01 shows an increase of Fresh Fruits Bunches (F.F.B.) of 44.6% in
the palm oil plantation where Homa Therapy has been applied for 2 months.
This was not observed in the TUNUYA Sector where NO Homa Therapy was applied,
in spite of the abundant rains in this area from November on.
In the SANTA ROSA sector a production like this has never been observed
before applying Homa Therapy.

It the palm oil plantation a good formation of tree crowns is observed
through the effect of Homa Therapy. The plantation shows a uniform
production between inflorescences, green bunches and mature bunches.
The physiologic behavior of the palm oil shows a rapid development through
Homa Therapy, considering a production in 6 months. This is reflected in a
bigger number of green bunches, compared with the number of feminine
inflorescence.

In the palm oil plantation mature bunches with a weight from 10 to 40 kilos
are observed through the Homa effect. For the average of weight, bunches
from 37 to 40 kilos are not considered, because they only represent 17% of
the total production of mature bunches. The plantation tends to produce
bunches of more size and weight through the effects of the Homa atmosphere
and the Agnihotra ash solution.
After two months of applying Homa Therapy the palms oil trees increased
their production 103%. |

In chart N° 04 the difference between the production of the
palm oil plantation with Homa Therapy (Sector Santa Rosa) is compared with
the production of the Sector TUNUYA where Homa Therapy is not applied. The
difference is more than a 100% in spite of being in the same area and in the
same climate.
The butterfly (Brassollis sp.), well-known as "Ahuihua " in its state as a
larvae destroys the palm oil leaves. Through the effect of the Homa
atmosphere and the application of the Agnihotra ash the larvaes leave during
the day the stem and the leaves, which serve them as lodge, they fall off
the tree to the floor and finally end up dying.
The presence of pollinating insects (bees and others) increases through the
Homa effect.
At the moment of harvesting the mature bunches, the palm oil tree presents
from 33 to 35 functional leaves, achieved through Homa atmosphere and the
application of the Agnihotra ash solution. |
III. CONCLUSIONS
-The Palm Oil plantation had phytosanitary problems, weed overgrowth, low
production and 70% of the fruits were non commercial. It rejuvenated in only
two months through the Homa effect and the application of the Agnihotra ash
solution.
-The production increased 103% after applying Homa Therapy for only two
months, with bigger bunches and commercial fruits.
-The Palm Oil trees with Homa Therapy would produce 243 clusters per
hectare with a production of 3,159 kilos in a period of six months, assuring
a production increase.
-The production achieved with Homa Therapy shows us through certain
indicators that the harvest can increase until achieving a production of
42.910 tons/month/81.5 hectares. There are even other certain appraisable
parameters that indicate that this production can be achieved before the six
months.
-In spite of not having applied bio fertilizer, the production increased
through the effect of the Homa atmosphere and the Agnihotra ash.
-The palm oil cultivation allows, applying Homa Therapy, to achieve
production at low cost, minimizing expenses and maximizing profitability.
IV. RECOMMENDATIONS
It is necessary to prune and clean the whole plantation of weeds in order to
best apply the Agnihotra ash solution.
Using the methods of Homa Therapy, the organic residuals obtained in the
palm oil processing (husk of fruits and others) can be
used to obtain bio manure, which would allow supplementing the nutritional
treatment of the palms.
