EXPERIENCES OF HOMA THERAPY IN AGRICULTURE IN THE INDUSTRIAL AGRARIAN CO-OPERATIVE "NARANJILLO"

INTRODUCTION

The inhabitants of the planet Earth often do not realise the damage that we cause to own home, Nature. In the different processes of our daily life we contaminate the water, soil, and air and continually destroy the flora and fauna.

Processes of contamination worsen every day, and soon the use of these valuable resources will have to be restricted as shortages occur. Moreover, if Man ”The supreme being of creation” does not take steps to remedy his errors and change his way of thinking these resources may disappear altogether.

In rural areas, the production process faces problems that are more serious and it is difficult and expensive to produce quality foodstuff. Insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and inorganic fertilisers pollute the soil, water, and air and they are becoming increasingly expensive and less and less efficient. Plagues and disease are prolific, harvest size decreases, and the atmosphere is damaged, providing the ideal climate for the proliferation of insects, fungi, viruses and other pathogens.

Faced with this unnatural situation of disequilibrium in the ecosystems, Homa Therapy suggests itself as an alternative that not only heals the environment and reduces pests and disease, but is also a viable possibility for improving crops, increasing harvest size, recovering soils and establishing an ecological equilibrium again.

In 1998 Doctor Gloria Guzman, Independent Homa Therapy Consultant installed Homa Resonance huts in Alto Huallaga. The aim of this was to heal the environment and stop the pests and disease that were attacking crops such as citrus, bananas, avocados, coffee and cocoa among others.

Homa Therapy is the process of removing the toxic conditions of the atmosphere through the agency of fire. This implies using fire as a medium to heal and purify the atmosphere. You heal the atmosphere and the healed atmosphere heals you. This is the central idea in Homa Therapy. The expression ‘ to heal the atmosphere’ has many branches that have yet to be investigated by modern science.

Homa Therapy is as old as creation. In the course of time, this knowledge was lost but it is now being resuscitated to give people guidance about how to correct the polluted conditions we find ourselves in on the planet today. When pollution makes things go wrong the elements of Nature begin to change.

The cohesion and fusion of atoms is altered. Homa Therapy helps to restore harmony and produce a new and beneficial element. Nothing is created, only restructured.

The main aim of installing Homa Therapy modules in agriculture is to improve the living conditions of the rural population in the Alto Huallaga area by healing the environment. The Homa practice of organic agriculture eliminates pests and disease that attack agricultural and forest crops, thus harvest yields are increased, rural economy is improved and a sustainable form of agriculture becomes possible.

Methods

A pilot project started in April 1999 to install Homa Therapy modules in 13 of the 36 relevant sectors within the Industrial Agrarian Co-operative Naranjillo (COOPAIN), involving the departments of Huánuco, San Martin and Ucayali.

Homa fire ceremonies

1.Agnihotra. This is the basic Homa for all Homa fire ceremonies. It is tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise and sunset. The process involves preparing a small fire in a copper pyramid of fixed size and putting some grains of brown rice into the fire at exactly sunrise and sunset accompanied by the chant of simple mantras. This drives the healing effect of the atmosphere.

2.Vharuti Homa. This is done to strengthen the healing effect created in an area by Agnihotra. This Homa can be carried out at any time of the day or night except at the times reserved for Agnihotra. It can be done before starting a meeting to create a pleasant atmosphere for those present.

3.Om Triambakam Homa. This can be done whenever and for as long as desired. Thousands of people all over the world, seeking the healing effects, regularly do this at home for fifteen minutes in the afternoon.

The application of Homa Therapy in the work sectors.

The use of Homa fire in the resonance Huts seeks to provide the following benefits:

 In agriculture:

-         To obtain organic crops (without the use of agrochemicals).

-         To strengthen the delicate energy system of the plants.

-         To provoke a change in the reproductive hormones of pests.

-         To favour the growth of foodstuff through the introduction of microclimatic techniques that become self-operative, based on lunar and solar phases and Homa fire.

 In the atmosphere:

-         To favour nutritional rainfall

-         To improve the nutritional content of the space between two planets.

-         To purify contaminated water.

-         To purify the air that we breathe by removing toxins from the atmosphere.

Other areas of Homa Therapy application

 In psychotherapy:

-         To reduce anger and destructive habit patterns.

-         To establish a positive focus based on love

-         To cleanse negative thought patterns which dominate the mind

-         To eliminate stress and tension in the mind.

-         To motivate to free oneself from addiction to drugs, alcohol and other destructive habits.

 In medicine:

- To neutralise the effects in the body produced by an intake of radioactive food.

- To produce a Homa atmosphere for the prevention and cure of illnesses.

- Homa has medicinal powers for human beings, animals and plants.

 In biogenetics:

-         To favour the impregnation of qualities in a child or grandchild, etc.

-         To correct sterility

 RESULTS

 -         After using Homa Agriculture for three months in the sectors, Los Milagros and Alto Pendencia, districts under the jurisdiction of José Cespo y Castillo and Daniél Alomiá Robles, in the province of Leoncio Prado, department of Huánco, an 80% reduction of pests and disease was achieved in the cultivation of bananas, citrus, avocados, pawpaws and forestry species.

-         In the above-mentioned sectors, there was a considerable improvement in soil fertility, thus favouring improved plant growth, resulting in vigorous growth and lush shiny leaves.

-         Under Homa Therapy, the sesame crop gave two harvests, producing a total yield of 4 tonnes per hectare.

 CONCLUSIONS

1.      In Peru, as in other countries, environmental problems have worsened in the last 15 years, owing to the development of economic activities without considering the need to protect and conserve the environment.

2.      Since the approval of the Environment and Natural Resources code in 1990, there have been hopes for an improved use of natural resources, particularly of renewable resources., Unfortunately in Alto Huallaga the public and private institutions and often the urban and rural population still do not appreciate the importance of protecting and conserving the environment.

3.      Homa Therapy is a valuable alternative for obtaining organic produce- the demand for which is ever increasing in Europe- and helps to increase the incomes of the members of the Industrial Agrarian Co-operative, Naranjillo.

4.      The pilot scheme has direct social consequences by providing a growing and sustainable income, a pure and healthy environment, a training in business and good health.

5.      The following are some of the complementary benefits obtained from Homa Therapy:

¨      Recovery of agricultural areas degraded by the monocultivation of coca.

¨      The installation of a seed bank of seeds from alternative cultivation.

¨      The increase of cattle.

 RECOMMENDATIONS

1.                  The Minisrty of Agriculture, CONTRA DROGAS and other institutions working with programmes for alternative development should finance Homa Agriculture projects in Alto Huallaga.

2.                  To avoid the continuing environmental damage in our country, environmental training programmes should be provided, and there should be improved co-ordination between institutes, producer empowerment and reinforcement of activities to protect and conserve the environment. In this way the well-being of the population will be improved while in harmony with nature.

3.                  The incorporation of Homa Therapy in agricultural, livestock, forestry and beekeeping projects with the aim of improving the production of organic produce, demand for which is continually growing in the international market.
